Dan Johnson – President and Founder

 

Prior to founding Freestone, Dan spent a decade in the oil and natural gas industry where he used market intelligence and data analytics to support strategic planning and decisions from the field to the boardroom.

​

Before working in the oil and gas industry, Dan worked in and studied other natural resource markets including power in Colorado and natural gas in South America.

​

Dan holds an M.S. in Mineral and Energy Economics from Colorado School of Mines and a B.A. in Physics from Colorado College. Dan is a husband, father and outdoorsman, living in Oklahoma City.
